As of 15 October 2026, no official last date has been announced for Apna Ghar scheme online registration in 2026. The federal PM Apna Ghar loan (apnaghar.gov.pk), Punjab's Apni Chhat Apna Ghar (acag.punjab.gov.pk) and Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat all accept applications on a rolling basis. Apni Zameen Apna Ghar (free 3 marla plots) works in phases, and no Phase 2 registration dates have been published yet.
Searches for the apna ghar scheme online registration 2026 last date turn up dozens of posts quoting different dates. Most of them are guesses. This page checks each scheme against its official portal and recent news from major outlets, and tells you which dates are real.

Apna Ghar Scheme Online Registration 2026 Last Date: Status of Every Scheme
The table below is the short answer for each scheme. "Last date" means a closing date published by the government itself, not by a blog or YouTube channel.
| Scheme | Registration status (Oct 2026) | Last date | Official portal | Verified source / date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PM / Wazir-e-Azam Apna Ghar (federal loan up to Rs10 million) | Open, through the portal or any participating bank | Not announced | apnaghar.gov.pk | Dawn, 30 Apr 2026; The Nation and ARY, 14-15 Oct 2026 |
| Apni Chhat Apna Ghar (Punjab, Rs1.5 million interest-free) | Open, rolling applications | Not announced | acag.punjab.gov.pk | ACAG portal, read 15 Oct 2026 |
| Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat (Punjab, roof repair or extra floor) | Open | Not announced | acag.punjab.gov.pk (separate button) | Radio Pakistan, 17 Jul 2026; ProPakistani, 18 Jul 2026 |
| Apni Zameen Apna Ghar (Punjab, free 3 marla plot) | Phase 1 balloted and allotted; next phase not announced | No dates published | azag.punjab.gov.pk | AZAG portal, read 15 Oct 2026 |
| Sindh, KP, Balochistan provincial housing | No provincial Apna Ghar-style registration with a deadline found | None found | Use the federal portal | Searches, 15 Oct 2026 |
So the honest answer to "registration ki last date kya hai?" is this: for the loan schemes, there is no last date right now. For the free plot scheme, the next window has simply not been opened yet.
PM Housing Loan Scheme Pakistan: Apply Online Last Date
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched the Wazir-e-Azam Apna Ghar Programme in Islamabad on 30 April 2026. It covers Islamabad, all four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK. First-time homeowners can borrow up to Rs10 million at 5% fixed for the first 10 years, with tenure up to 20 years.
No last date has been set. The scheme is target-based, not deadline-based. The first-year target was 50,000 houses. On 14 October 2026, the PM's review meeting set a current-year aim of Rs700 billion for 125,000 housing units. By then, 75,198 loans worth Rs448 billion had been approved and Rs76 billion disbursed to about 14,000 people.
The same meeting cut the required documents from 25 to 5 and confirmed a 15-working-day limit for banks to process an application. Some posts call "end of October" a last date. That date is actually the deadline for the State Bank and ministries to finish their consultations on improving the scheme. It is not a deadline for applicants.
You can apply online at apnaghar.gov.pk (create an account with your CNIC, then pick a bank) or walk into any participating bank branch. Full terms are in our PM Apna Ghar Programme guide, and you can estimate your kist with the loan calculator.
ACAG Punjab Gov PK Online Apply Last Date
Apni Chhat Apna Ghar gives an interest-free qarza of up to Rs1.5 million to Punjab families who own a small plot but cannot afford to build. The official criteria require a plot of up to 5 marla (urban) or 10 marla (rural) in your own name and an age of 21 to 60.
The ACAG portal shows no closing date, no "registration closed" notice and no Phase 3 schedule as of 15 October 2026. It still shows the "Apply for Construction of New House" option. Its live counter reported 223,547 loans worth PKR 291,440.5 million as of 28 October 2026.
The programme moves in funded phases. According to a Punjab government handout published by The Nation (17 Sep 2026), Phase 1 covered 134,439 houses and Phase 2 covered 65,000 houses. On 8 October 2026 the Chief Minister restated a goal of 500,000 houses in 5 years. Blog claims of a "31 October 2026" last date have no official source behind them.

Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat
CM Maryam Nawaz launched the digital portal for Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat on 17 July 2026, according to Radio Pakistan. It offers up to Rs500,000 to repair or strengthen a weak roof and up to Rs1 million to build an extra room or second floor, interest-free. You can apply on acag.punjab.gov.pk or through DC, AC and PHATA offices. No closing date has been announced. Read more in our Mehfooz Ghar guide.
Apni Zameen Apna Ghar Scheme Online Registration Last Date
This is the one scheme where timing really matters, because it is not rolling. Apni Zameen Apna Ghar gives free 3 marla plots to homeless Punjab families through computerised balloting, with a district-based quota. The first round offered about 2,000 plots in 19 districts.
Phase 1 applications have already been scrutinised, balloted and allotted. For example, The Nation reported on 5 July 2026 that more than 600 families in Jhelum received allotment letters after a computerised ballot. Winners can also apply for the ACAG Rs1.5 million loan to build.
The AZAG portal lists no registration dates at all. Its FAQ says only that timelines will be shared through official channels. Several blogs claim Phase 1 closed on 16 July 2026, or that Phase 2 is "opening soon". We could not confirm either claim from an official source. Until the portal or the Punjab government announces Phase 2, treat any date you see as unverified. Details are in our 3 marla plot guide.

No Last Date Does Not Mean No Limit: Quotas and Targets
Rolling registration means you can apply any day. It does not mean every applicant will be funded. Three limits matter:
- Funding targets. Each scheme has a yearly or phase budget, such as the federal Rs700 billion target for 125,000 units. When a phase's money is used up, approvals can slow until new funds are released.
- District quotas. AZAG plots are allotted by district quota. You can only apply in your own district, and a ballot decides who gets a plot.
- Bank credit checks. For the federal loan, the bank still judges whether you can repay. Being on time does not guarantee approval.
The 15-working-day bank decision rule
Under the federal scheme, a bank must process a complete application within 15 working days. The clock does not count weekends or public holidays. It also starts only when your file has every required paper. If the bank asks for something missing, submit it quickly. If you hear nothing after 15 working days, ask the branch for a written status update and keep the reference number. Use our documents checklist to avoid gaps.

How to Know if Registration Closes
A real closing date will appear in official channels first. Check these, in this order:
- The portal itself: apnaghar.gov.pk, acag.punjab.gov.pk or azag.punjab.gov.pk. A closed scheme usually removes the Apply button or shows a notice.
- Punjab government and CM Punjab official social media accounts, and punjab.gov.pk.
- The PM Office, PID or APP for the federal scheme, and State Bank of Pakistan circulars.
- Major newspapers such as Dawn, The News, Express Tribune and The Nation.
- The toll-free Punjab helpline 0800-09100. See our helpline page for other numbers.
Fake "last date" posts
Many viral posts and videos add a fake deadline to create panic, then ask you to pay an "agent fee" or share your CNIC on WhatsApp. Watch for these warning signs:
- A date with no link to an official portal or newspaper.
- Websites that look official but do not end in .gov.pk.
- Anyone asking for money to "register you before the last date". Never pay an agent. Any fee a scheme charges is generated as a challan on the official portal itself.
- Requests for your PIN, OTP or bank password.
Apna Ghar Guide is not a government site and never takes applications. Apply only on official .gov.pk portals or at a bank branch.

What to Do if You Missed a Phase
- Missed AZAG Phase 1? Keep your CNIC, income proof and an affidavit of no property ready. Check azag.punjab.gov.pk regularly for the next window. You cannot apply late to a closed phase.
- Own a small plot? You do not need to wait for AZAG. You may qualify for ACAG today. Check the documents first.
- Have income but no house? The federal PM Apna Ghar loan is open now. Compare the two in PM Apna Ghar vs Apni Chhat Apna Ghar.
- Application rejected? Find out the reason (missing paper, PMT, ownership) and ask the helpline or your bank whether you can apply again after fixing it.
- Outside Punjab? See our Sindh and KPK guide. The federal loan is available in every province.
